A K-9 was brought in to track suspects who forced their way into a Zanesville home Monday evening.

Officers with the Zanesville Police Department were called to a home invasion at 595 Shinnick Circle around 10 p.m. .

"They walked in the residence and demanded for people to get on the floor, right now it doesn’t appear as they got anything. They did act as though they had a weapon," says Lt. Tony Coury.

Two female victims were in the home. The suspects left so quickly Lt. Coury says they did not disclose their motive.

"Officers arrived here within about 30 seconds. We were able to determine that two males, right now we believe they’re white males, were wearing bandanas, dark colored clothing," he says.

A Muskingum County Sheriff’s K-9 tracked the suspects in the area of Cliffwood Avenue and Indiana Street. No arrests have been made at this time.
