Area residents had the opportunity Saturday to begin their holiday shopping a little bit early….

The annual Coburn United Methodist Church Holiday Bazaar brought out more than 75 vendors and a crowd that Chairperson Eva Siber said is the largest she’s seen in the past 15 years of organizing the event.

"There’s a couple other bazaars in town so people like to be bazaar hoping," said Siber, "especially when the weather is nice."

All money raised will go towards the church’s communication team to help fund their community outreach.

"We do some advertising, we do brochures, we put together the church directory, so that as new people come we can give them those or if somebody is interested in the church needs them," said Siber.

Siber said the bazaar typically brings in a couple thousand dollars.
