A Zanesville mail carrier has reached a plea deal with the United States Attorney Office. Spokesman Fred Alverson says that Rhonda McCullough was charged this week with a misdemeanor count of delaying or destroying mail. Alverson says on December 1st a hearing will be held where a statement of facts will occur. Alverson says McCullough opened mail not addressed to her containing prescription drugs. The incidents occurred between August 2010 and August 2011. McCullough faces up to one year in jail and a 100-thousand dollar fine.
