United Way Calls to Community

United Way Of Muskingum, Morgan and Perry Counties presented their Mid-Campaign Status Report Thursday afternoon.

Executive Director of United Way Meg Deedrick said they’ve seen much success through the campaign but challenges remain.

"The bottom line is we are not asking people to give more but we do need to ask more people to give," emphasized Deedrick. "It needs to be a community effort."

Chairman of the 2011 Campaign Chad Tom said the focus of this year’s campaign is on outcome rather than the dollar amount.

"We always need help so anybody who is out there, is willing, has a heartfelt pull to help the United Way, it doesn’t just have to be money it can be in other ways as well," encouraged Tom.
