Zanesville City Law Director Scott Hillis says six adults have now been charged in connection with a party where a teenager died. Hillis says this past summer on July 15th underage drinking took place at a home on Taylor Street. Hillis says the following are charged in the case — 45-year-old Warren Howard and his 43-year-old wife Tamara Howard of Taylor Street –where the party took place – face eight counts of child endangering. Hillis says 22-year-old David Stewart is charged with two counts of furnishing alcohol to a minor and two counts of contributing to the unruliness of a minor…18-year-old Alexander Muchnok is facing one count of underage consumption…18-year-old Cole Carpenter – one count of underage consumption and 18-year-old Christopher Dowell – one count of underage consumption. Hillis says the charges are not related to the death of Grant Hickman who was at the Taylor Street party. An autopsy report issued last week revealed that Hickman did not die of alcohol poisoning. Hillis says an arraignment is scheduled for Friday in Zanesville Municipal Court. Zanesville attorney Herb Baker – who is representing the Howard’s – says he has entered not guilty pleas in the case.
