Two Injured in I-70 Accident

An elderly Florida couple was trapped in their car after going over a guard rail, this evening.

The accident happened on I-70 westbound around mile marker 142
According to the State Highway Patrol and National Trail Fire Department, The driver of the vehicle drifted into another lane, then over-corrected; causing the car to flip over a guard rail and into a tree.
Rescuers has to use the Jaws of Life to free the occupants, and a chainsaw to cut away tree limbs from the mangled car.
Both were transported to Good Samaritan hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Lt. Andrew Jones of the National Trail Fire Department says that alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
