The March Primary is still a little over a month away… But voters in Ohio will be allowed to start early voting Tuesday.

Muskingum County Board of Elections Director, Chris Hamill, said voters have a couple of options when it comes to requesting their absentee ballots.

"You can actually go to the Board of Elections and vote absentee here, you can download off of our website, and application for an absentee ballot, you can fill that out mail it to our office and we will mail the ballot to you," said Hamill "Or, you can call the office and we will mail you out the application."

The Board of Elections has a new feature on their website, where registered voters can look at a sample ballot.

You can have a sample ballot right there before you , so you can review it before you go to the polls on Election Day, and it would be exactly how you are going to vote on Election Day," added Hamill.

Voters have until March 2nd, at 6 p.m. to cast their absentee ballots at the Board of Elections.
February 6th is the deadline to register to vote in the March Primary.
