You’re invited to taste cuisine from around the world.
The annual Ethnic Food Fair will return to Zane State College this Friday. The menu will celebrate diversity, including Italian, French, Soul and Caribbean foods- all of which will be prepared by culinary students under the instruction of Chef Marco Adornetto.
"Cooking is so cultural diverse and there is so many different ethnic styles and cuisines that go into making a dish today," said Adornetto.
Adornetto said students will prepare enough food to offer more than 350 guests a taste of each cuisine. Adornetto has been involved in the Ethnic Food Fair for nearly 17 years and remembers when only himself and 8 other students would prepare the meal.
"I’ve got 40 first-year students, so the program is really growing," said Adornetto. "So it’s really nice for me it makes it a lot easier."
The cost of the event is $10 and seating is limited. For more information or to purchase a ticket, call the Business Office at Zane State College at (740) 588-1226.
