The Ohio Department of Transportation said Friday that water has closed a portion of roadway in Guernsey County.
State Route 146 is closed approximately four miles south of Pleasant City from the 4.3 mile marker to the 9.9 mile marker due to the high water.
The recommended detour is State Route 821 to State Route 672 to State Route 146. It’s unknown when the roadway will reopen.
According to Buckeyetraffic.org other areas experiencing high water road closures include State Route 715 in Coshocton County between State Routes 715 and 206 east of the Village of Walhonding. State Route 60 on the Coshocton/Holmes County line are also closed between County Road 343 in Blissfield and north of Layland.
