A mobile meth lab was discovered during a traffic stop Tuesday night in Zanesville.
According to Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz, a vehicle was pulled over around 9:20 p.m. at the Love’s Travel Stop on Sonora Road.
Lt. Mike LeCocq, who made the stop, discovered during his investigation one of the occupants of the vehicle had an outstanding warrant in another county. Lt. LeCocq also found what authorities call a "rolling meth lab".
Sheriff Lutz says meth labs like these are extremely dangerous and must be disposed of with caution. The Sheriff says two people were
taken into custody, however no names will be released until formal charges are discussed with Prosecutor Mike Haddox.
