The wait is almost over for sports fans looking for a new place to hang that feels like home.
Buffalo Wild Wings is just weeks away from unveiling its new grill and bar in Zanesville. General Manager Matt Antonetz said the Brandywine Boulevard location will offer customers a fresh look once construction is complete.
"The AV system won’t compare to anything at any sports bar that you’ve ever seen in central Ohio," said Antonetz. "We’re going to have 61 flat-screen televisions and 8 projectors."
Antonetz said this building is actually smaller than the old one, but its economical design wastes less space. The current staff will be moving to the new location, and 75 additional employees are joining the team. He said items from the Maple Avenue restaurant will be auctioned off as memorabilia for fans who have watched quite a few football games there.
"It’s quite incredible watching the process of this building go up and all the work involved in making this business move to the future," said Antonetz.
Buffalo Wild Wings is aiming to open its Brandywine Boulevard location on February 20th. Antonetz said guests can expect a memorable grand re-opening ceremony.
