Sheridan 27 New Lexington 45

On the mat, these two Perry County rivals have finished one-two in the standings every year since 1999 and this match usually gives one team the big advantage heading into the final league tournament.  This time around, it was New Lexington that had the upper hand in a great dual match.  The Panthers looked to be in complete control for most of the match, until the Generals got 15 straight points from their lower weight classes to take a 27-21 lead.  However, New Lexington got pins in their last four matches to seal the win.  With the win, the Panthers remain undefeated in the league, while Sheridan drops behind Tri-Valley into third place.
