Residents of Somerset and the surrounding area experience an expanded pharmacy.
Northside Pharmacy in Somerset has moved across the street into a new building. The pharmacy worked closely with the Perry County Historical Society to make sure the building fit in with the downtown. There’s also more room for the pharmacist.
"He has some resources he didn’t have before," said Director of Northside Pharmacy Rod Stickrath. "They have a drive up window, convenient parking, convenient food items, more giftable items, public restrooms and there’s two thirds more room then they had before."
In a village the size of Somerset sometimes it’s not always easy to find what you need and Northside hopes to be a pillar for the community.
"We know there are unique circumstances and needs and wants and we’re very quick to adjust and help people in a way of the familiarity of a small town," said pharmacy director Jim Clouse.
Clouse said the larger pharmacy area should allow them to serve customers more efficiently. A grand opening will be help next Wednesday with door prizes and other giveaways.
