Both the victim and the suspect of a stabbing incident fled the scene early Sunday morning.
According to the Cambridge Police Department shortly before 2 a.m. crews responded to a 911 call at a South 8th Street residence.
Upon arrival those involved fled. Officers searched the area until they received a call from the South Eastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, saying a stabbing victim was just dropped off at their Emergency Room.
Police then received a call from the suspect’s brother- who said the suspect wanted to turn him self in. Deputies responded and the suspect was arrested without incident.
The case remains under investigation. Names will not be released until formal charges are filed.
