A man is sentenced to three years in prison for his part in a robbery where the victim was stabbed.

25-year-old Steven Adams of Zanesville received the sentence Monday from Judge Mark Fleegle in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court. He had pled guilty to aggravated robbery in December.

According to the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office, Adams and 23-year-old Jamie Storts stabbed John Hannahs at his home on Roseville Road in Avondale during a robbery in November of last year. Hannahs was hospitalized and recovered from his injuries.

Storts was sentenced last week to five years in prison for the incident.
