The Muskingum County Animal Shelter is looking for help in finding a home for a energetic puppy.
Meet Daisy, a one year-old boxer mix. She has been returned to the animal shelter twice in the last year.
Volunteer, Niel Kiikka believed poor family matching is to blame, but believed the right family is out there for her somewhere.
"I’ve since had bike rides with her up to 15 miles and she’s still got some reserve there, so she’s going to make a great frisbee dog, or somebody that likes to do a lot of exercise or running or bicycling, she would be a perfect companion for that," said Kiikka.
He urged whoever wanted to adopt Daisy to first visit and play with her, so that she doesn’t wind up back in the shelter again.
"Take advantage of walking her, use the playroom, get a sense of how she acts, and make it a permanent adoption," added Kiikka
