Big Brothers Big Sisters is looking for volunteers to help raise money – by bowling.

The Bowl for Kids Sake "Rock and Bowl" event raises money to help recruit, screen and match volunteer mentors with local youth.
Executive Director Mollie Crooks says she was overwhelmed by the community’s generosity at last year’s event.

"The Bowl for Kids Sake in Muskingum County has turned into a four day event because of the great support and great participation we’ve had in the county. Plus it gives different folks, different bowling teams a chance to come at a time that’s convenient for them," said Crooks.

Teams of five are asked to set a base goal of raising one hundred dollars per person, and to recruit other volunteers to participate.

"It’s only limited by your own creativity and we invite all ages and all neighborhoods, friends, bussinesses, civic groups to get involved and help support our kids in this endeavor," said Crooks.
