Shelter Animals Looking For Homes

If you’re looking for a companion this Super bowl weekend, The Muskingum County Animal Shelter may have what you’re looking for.

This brown and white beagle mix does not have a name, but Executive Director, Larry Hostetler said she’s up for adoption to a good home.

"She’s already been spayed, and up-to-date on her shots, wormed, she’s been vet-checked, and all ready to go home and be apart of somebody’s family," said Hostetler.

Right now, Hostetler said the number of dogs at the shelter are limited, but the shelter is always looking for good homes for its many animals year-round.

"Unfortunately for the older dogs, people that come in want a puppy," added Hostetler.  "They want a cute fluffy puppy, and sadly, most of the time overlook the older dogs; anything nine moths or older. So, they’re a little harder to place, because they’re older."
