If you haven’t registered for the March Primary, you only have a few hours left to do so.
Muskingum county residents have until 9 p.m. Monday to register to vote.
Board of Elections Director Chris Hamill said even though voter registration is ending, there is still time to request an absentee ballot.
"Today is the last day to register to vote, but you still have time to request an absentee ballot and the application," said Hamill. "You can call us for the application and we mail an application to you, so then that you can fill that out, mail it back to us and then we’ll mail you a ballot."
Some voters in Licking Township will see a permanent change to their polling location.
Hamill said that one other polling location had to be temporarily moved after a fire.
"The precinct that we are moving temporarily this election is the one that was at the First Free Methodist Church in the Social Hall," added Hamill. "That precinct was 4A. We’ve had to move that because the social hall had a fire, and it will temporarily be moved to the James Singer Center this election. "
To find out more information about your voting location or to request an absentee ballot, you can call the Muskingum County Board of Elections.
