The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for a suspect involved in an attempted robbery.

Sheriff Matt Lutz said that around 8 p.m. on Monday a woman walked into the BP gas station in Duncan Falls and threatened the clerks working there.  He said she told the employees that she had a pipe bomb underneath her jacket.  Lutz said he’s unsure if the woman stole anything from the store.  No one was harmed, and the woman fled the scene before deputies arrived.  Deputies pulled over a vehicle matching the description, but it was not the suspect’s car.

The sheriff’s office is still looking for the woman, and anyone with information is asked to call (740) 452-3637.
