The Artist Colony of Zanesville is featuring the ZAAP gallery during the First Friday Art Walk.
Gary Graham is one of about 80 members of the Zanesville Appalachian Arts Project. He said many of the artists will be available to answer questions and discuss their work, which ranges from paintings to pottery.
"I think variety is always a nice touch," said Graham. "Choice is something that we all are privileged to have, and not everyone likes the same type of art, so here you have all varieties, and if you can’t find something here that you like, maybe you don’t really like art!"
Graham said the First Friday Art Walks continue to shed light on Zanesville’s creative community. He said he hopes to see some new faces at the galleries this month.
"I think that if you don’t come down and see what’s available, you’re really missing out," said Graham. "You can bring your family or you can come by yourself, but just come down for the experience of seeing the work, meeting the artists and enjoying a fun evening."
The art walk will take place on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. Inclement weather will not cancel the event.
