Flash Registration at Zane State

It’s the last chance for Zane State College students to register for spring classes.

Director of the Student Success Center Stacie Mahaffey said the Flash Registration also allows students to apply for financial aid and seek academic counseling from faculty.

"Many times they’ve thought that they’ve lost the opportunity and now they’re three or four months out of being able to start at another time, and of course when you’re thinking of something and motivated now, we want to get you during that time that you’re highly motivated," said Mahaffey.

The event was open to new and current Zane State students.  Mahaffey said the college is seeing an increase in enrollment.

"We have a good rate, it’s economical, and it’s good for them as far as being able to fit the pocketbook," said Mahaffey.  "They can also get a good, solid education.  Our faculty are very personal with their students and interested in seeing them succeed."

The college’s Cambridge campus held a Flash Registration on Thursday.  Classes for the spring quarter start on Monday.
