There is some major flooding in Licking County Thursday.  A mobile home park in Hebron and another in Newark were evacuated and a school district has closed two schools because of flooding.  Lakewood Local Schools in Licking County closed Hebron Elementary school and Jackson Intermediate School.  A District spokeswoman says classes were cancelled because busses were having difficulty getting to students through high water on roads.  The National Weather Service received reports throughout the morning of hail and flooding in Licking County and neighboring Fairfield County.  There was one report that claimed parts of Licking County received 7 inches of rain.

At 12:30 pm Thursday Newark Police issued this statment: "Due to raising water and the prospect of flooding, Newark Police and Fire Personnel are evacuating the Canterbury Trailer Park on Licking View Drive.  Licking View Drive at Hopewell and Forry Ave. at Seneca Drive will be closed to all traffic until further notice."

Licking County Emergency Crews rescued at least 10 people due to flooding issue.
