The YMCA is inviting you and your family to take part in the annual, "Earth Day in the Park."
While Park Central on Adams Lane may look quiet now, tomorrow will feature displays and activities, arts and crafts and educational booths.
The events organizer said while some activities are geared towards younger kids, it’s an event the entire family can take part in.
"It’s not just for little kids, we have things for older students, college-aged students, and even adults. so lot of kids of activities, but lots of interesting things for adults," said Kristine Fowler-Geis.
Those attending will be able to drop off aluminum cans and plastic bottles to benefit Falls Elementary School.
But most importantly, the event aims to bring people together in an effort to make the area a better place to live.
"It’s absolutely free, and it’s helping to unite the people of Muskingum County for a good cause, for learning about how to make our home and our community better," added Fowler-Geis.
Rain or shine, the 4th annual event takes place tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
