Classes will resume at two area schools after they were evacuated Thursday due to bomb threats.

According to Lieutenant Dale Lyons of the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office, bomb threats were reportedly in the Rolling Hills Local School District at both Meadowbrook High And Middle Schools. Lyons says that no injuries were reported and the schools were evacuated so deputies could investigate.

He says the threats were in the form of graffiti scribbled on the walls inside both schools. Student suspects are now in custody. The incident remains under investigation by the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office.
