The John McIntire Library will play host to a presentations from over a dozen community organizations next week.

The agencies of the United Way of Muskingum, Perry and Morgan counties will speak on how their agencies will impact the community during the 2013 fiscal year.

Library Assistant Director and United Way Investment Committee Chairman Blair Tom said the goal is to be more transparent to investors and area residents.

"Each agency will give a five minute presentation about how their proposal for investment that will be reviewed by the investment committee, would make an impact in the three counties we serve," said Tom.

Tom said after presentations, those attending will have a chance to speak one on one with various organizations about their plans.

Individuals attending can talk with the partner agencies and with each other, to do follow-up questions and get more information. Also we’ve invited the agencies to bring information and brochures that will be available to pick up and take home with them," added Tom.

The event is free and open to the public from 3-5 p.m. Tuesday April 17th in the downstairs auditorium.
