State Route 60 was shut down for almost an hour-and-a-half Thursday night following a crash shortly after 7 p.m

The accident occurred in Wayne Township between Lawhead Lane and Pauls Lane.

"We had a red Explorer that was northbound on State Route 60, had a Buick that was attempting to pull out of the driveway here on 60, the Buick failed-to-yield, pulled out in the path of the Explorer, as they collided it sent the Explorer to the oncoming lanes," says Trooper Jeff Fowler, State Highway Patrol.

Trooper Fowler says fortunately no other vehicles were involved in the crash.

"We have a witness that stopped that said she was southbound and the Explorer nearly hit her, but she was able to get stopped," he says.

The driver of the Buick was taken to Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Three passengers in the Explorer were treated and released at the crash scene. Trooper Fowler says the driver of the Explorer was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
