A pedestrian walking just north of the Lancaster City Limits was taken by Med-Flight after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday night.
The State Highway Patrol said the accident happened just before 11 o’clock. 33-year-old Brant Megahey of Lancaster was walking in the middle of the eastbound lane along County Road 33A – that’s the Lancaster Business Route – when he was struck by driver 59-year-old Patrick Keels of Lancaster.
Megahey is said to be in stable condition but drug impairment is suspected to be factor for him walking in the middle of the road.
Keels was not injured. The accident remains under investigation.
