A Kori Caughenbaugh two run home run in the top of the first inning was enough for the Panthers to advance to the Regional Tournament. The Panthers weathered the storm in several innings, as Kindle Crossley pitched brillantly, making one mistake resulting in an Ashleigh Persinger HR in the bottom of the fourth inning. The Panthers advancing to play Lima Shawnee in the Regional Semifinal at Bucyrus High School Thursday, May 24th at 5 PM.

The underdog Ceramics did it again on Saturday afternoon, jumping out to a 3-0 lead after one inning and never looking back en route to a 6-0 win at Minford High School. Senior pitcher Macey Anders was dealing on the mound, pitching a complete game shoutout, allowing just two hits, three walks, and also added eight strikeouts, including a big one to get out of a bases loaded jam in the second. Ashley Alfman was the star at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs. Crooksville will play in the regionals semifinals at Pickerington Central High School on Wednesday, May 24th at 5 PM against Strasburg-Franklin.
