The County Risk Sharing Authority (CORSA) met with Muskingum County commissioners Thursday, May 31st to discuss their stewardship report.
Virginia Shrimplin is the Marketing Manager with CORSA, she broke down the way the county is utilizing services and the way CORSA will reward the county.
"With CORSA, our members are our stock holders so any extra money that we have left after we pay their claims, we return to our members," said Shrimplin.
Commissioners had recently signed a three year commitment. Shrimplin also spoke about coverage enhancements made to the 2012 commitment.
"It was under our crime coverage, that covers all the employees of the county, we have a million dollar coverage for that the only individuals not covered, are elected officials and specific other department heads," said Shrimplin.
Because of Ohio revised code, those officials and department heads are required to carry their own individual bond.
