The Perry County Sheriff’s Office announced that several residents were recently indicted by the grand jury on various charges.
27-year-old Eddie Hiles and 50-year-old Willie Kinney of New Lexington face two counts each of trafficking drugs a felony of the third degree. One of the counts includes a school specification.
52-year-old Durward Hampton was charged with trafficking in marijuana with a school specification.
The sheriff’s office said that he was arrested following drug complaints at his residence at 414 and a half Fowlers Lane, in New Lexington.
Corning resident 30-year-old Michael Hankinson is facing one count of aggravated possession of heroin.
38-year-old Jennifer Woodgeard faces one count of felony theft. She’s accused of stealing $4,000 from the Sheridan band booster program during her time as the treasure in 2009-2010.
