Two Bomb Threats At Wal-Mart South

The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office was called to Wal-Mart on the Maysville Pike twice overnight Wednesday for two separate bomb threats.  Deputies say the first time was just before midnight when a bomb threat was discovered on the men’s bathroom wall.  There was no date or time on the threat.  The Newton Township Fire Department and the Sheriff’s Office bomb sniffing dog searched the store and found nothing.  Then – just after 2:30 Thursday morning, a second bomb threat message was found on a bathroom stall.  Again the fire department and the dog searched and found nothing.  Both times the store was evacuated.  There are no suspects and the incidents remains under investigaton.
