We are coming up on the three year anniversary of the passing of Dick Haines, and his memorial basketball camp wrapped up with a bang. Though the numbers were down the organizers were happy with the turn out, and the way the instruction was done.

The camp was competing with two other big name camps this week and had a camper make the trip all the way from North Carolina to participate. The camp lasted three days and was organized by Haines’ daughters who also were in charge of the getting the voulenteers to help with the drills and coaching.

Players from Philo and Morgan were involved with the camp serving as counslers and also played games against the kids during the camp. The two camp sessions instructed kids from second grade all the way through junior high.
