The State Highway Patrol announces the location of Friday’s sobriety checkpoint in Perry County.
The checkpoint, which begins at 9p.m. and lasts until 1a.m., will take place on State Route 93 just north of Flint Ridge Road NE.
The checkpoint will be held in conjunction with the patrol and Crooksville Police Department.
The OVI checkpoint is funded by federal grant funds and is planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers.
Nearby saturation patrols to combat alcohol related injury and fatal crashes will also take place.
