Secrest Auditorium will be a mix between rock and country Friday night.

Texas band Whiskey Myers heads into Zanesville to show off their blue collar music talents. Brad Tyo co-founder of Blue Spark Ventures is behind bringing the band to town, he explains the band’s unique sound.

"Kind of a Southern rock feel, they’re a whole band instead of just one singer, so it’s a little bit different than the acts that have come here recently," said Tyo.

Tyo says there will be a post-show party featuring a mechanical bull and a chance to meet some members of the band. Local bands will make an appearance Friday night as well.

"Doublecut and Markham they will open it up. Markham will go on first they’re a band from Rosecrans and then Doublecut, they have a really strong local following, they’re from all around Muskingum County. They play county and classic rock as well," said Tyo.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $25 for the upper balcony and $35 for the lower auditorium, they can be purchased at secrestonline.com There is a chance to win tickets through radio shows; Z92, Highway 103 and AM1240 this week.
