One semi is full and workers busily get ready to fill another at Muskingum County’s electronic drop off event.
Many residents are taking advantage of the program by bringing in computers, printers and televisions to be recycled. Monday they filled a fifty-three foot trailer full of electronics to be hauled away.
"There seems to be more TV’s coming in then about anything. It’s not because people are tired of them it’s because they aren’t working anymore," said Robert Reiter solid waste management district.
Reiter said the amount of computers and related equipment is down this year.
"The amount of computers coming in printers, monitors that sort of thing is really slow," said Reiter. "There’s probably about 20 percent of what’s coming in maybe 25."
If you would like to drop off your electronic items the last day to do so is Wednesday between 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the recycling center on Adamsville Road.
