Experts are saying gas prices will start to climb again after falling since April, Monday afternoon gas jumped to $3.59 a gallon in Zanesville.

According to the Lundberg sSurvey, the national average of self-serve was $3.51 on July 27th, up from $3.41 on July 13th. We got reaction from consumers of the potential hike in gas prices.

"Well, I certainly hope they don’t, it’ll be a further drag on the economy and just a tough time for everyone to deal with," said Elizabeth Conway of Cleveland, Ohio.

Consumer’s will pay more at the pump thanks to wholesalers passing along the rising price of crude oil to them. The price of crude oil had been as high as $110 a barrel as recently as March 1st. The constant rise and fall has some wondering when it will stabilize.

"If they’re climbing I don’t know how much higher they can get because it fluctuates up and down. I’m happy to see a thirty, forty cent drop and then when it goes right back up to 3.60 again, I don’t know what’s going on," said Jason Stalnaker of Fayetteville, North Carolina.
