A Morgan County man wanted for murder since June is now in custody. Sheriff Tom Jenkins says 39-year-old Timmy Stevens was arrested without incident Tuesday in Deleware, Ohio. The Sheriff says information on the location of Stevens was obtained Monday through confidential sources. Jenkins says officers in Deleware were preparing to make the attempt to locate Stevens when he was seen on the street and arrested. He is wanted for the murder of 36-year-old John Davis III. The Sheriff says according to witnesses Davis and Stevens were arguing inside a home at 430 North Riverview Road on June 12th when Stevens allegedly shot Davis in the head. When Deputies arrived at the home both men were gone. Witnesses say the men got into a rental care and fled the scene. The car was later found in Stockport. Davis’ body was found near Bald Eagle Road in Windsor Township. Sheriff Jenkins says he expects to release more details on this case on Wednesday.
