McDonald’s held a grand re-opening of one of its’ Zanesville restaurants Thursday night.

A ribbon cutting ceremony at the Maple Avenue location included Zanesville Mayor Jeff Tilton and other local officials.

This is the third restaurant out of four in Zanesville that is being remodeled at a cost of $1.5 million as part of a national program.

"We totally re-vamped the lobby, updated it and modernized it. Updated the restroom and a new service experience at the front counter, as well as a re-configured the drive thru to make it more accessible for customers," says Chad Lawson, Operations Supervisor.

The restaurant also donated $250 to the Muskingum Valley Red Cross at the event.
