Major League Baseball:

Cincinnati 9 Colorado 7

Ryan Ludwick did it again to his former NL West foes as he went deep twice for the Reds, who won their ninth game in a row. Cincinnati has now won nine games in a row for the first time since 1999 and its their longest winning streak since that season when they went on to win ten games in a row.

Pittsburgh 4 Houston 3

Wandy Rodriguez made his Pirates debut but it wasn’t the result he would have wanted personally but for the team it was exactly what he wanted. The Pirates got a home run from Alex Presley in the win and they remained two games back of the Reds in the NL Central.

Cleveland 5 Minnesota 12

The Twins continued to have their way with Indian pitching as Minnesota was able to take game two of their three game set with Cleveland. Alexi Casilia had a great day at the plate driving in four runs for the Twins in the win.
