The Muskingum County Community Foundation says time is running out for those applying for two upperclassmen scholarships.
Applications for the Anne Gilbert Visual Arts Scholarships are due Wednesday.
Applicants must be a resident of Muskingum County, majoring in fine arts, graphic design, art and design or fashion design.
Scholarship Central’s Heather Sands said the application is easy to fill out and the money helps with the high price of tuition.
"A lot of visual arts students need that extra money while they’re in school, especially their sophomore, junior and senior year. It is available, it’s one $900 scholarship," said Sands. "Definitely an application you can complete by tomorrow. If they need help, we’re avail able here at the community foundation to help them."
The Forest M. and Meryl C. Scholarship is also due Wednesday.
Sands said applicants must be Muskingum County residents and must have completed their freshman year of college.
"That includes students in their sophomore, junior or senior years of college in addition to grad school or returning adults. There’s over $14,000 to be given away for that scholarship application," added Sands.
Applications for both scholarships can be downloaded from the Muskingum County Community Foundation’s website, http://www.mccf.org.
