Adults who want to return to school can now get on their way to an education.

Zane State will hold a College Fair for adults next Tuesday, July 17th from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. then again from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

"This really gives an opportunity for adults to come into the college, to circulate through a room that’s going to be set up with different tables where they can sit down learn about different aspects of the college," said Chad Brown, Ph.D., Executive Vice President at Zane State College.

The event is designed for adults who are uncertain about the process of starting college. Information on everything from the admissions process to financial aid will be available.

Also an important note to make, a change is coming to Zane State and OU-Z with the switch to semesters starting this fall.

"It still means overall thirty weeks of classes in the traditional timeframe but rather than it being broken up into three ten week sessions its broken up into fifteen week sessions, but because of that those full fifteen weeks occur before the Christmas holiday so we’re starting nearly a month sooner than we did in the quarter system," said Brown.

Brown says now is a great time for everybody to register because classes start so much earlier. Fall semester starts August 22nd.
