This fall it will now be easier to get your flu shot.
Rambo Memorial Health Center will now offer flu shots at every Zanesville High School home football game starting Friday, August 31st. The health center feels this will make it easier for the community to get their shots.
"We decided to come up with this program to kind of get ourselves out into the community and make ourselves more available for the public who can’t come down to the clinic from 8-4:30 Monday through Friday," said Nurse Case Manager, Emily Bellville.
Shots are available for children twelve and up and for all adults. The cost is five dollars for Muskingum County residents and fifteen for out of county.
"They need to be aware to have their flu shots done and that we’re here to do that for them, to provide that to our residents in the county and I just think the most important part is to be available for the people that we service," said Bellville.
The health center has also added more hours to their 2012 flu season schedule. September through November they will be open Thursdays until 7 p.m. and Saturdays ten until one.
