After winning the 48th Zanesville Senior Classic earlier this summer, Jim Spargrove was considered by many to be the odds-on favorite heading into the 19th ZDGA Seniors Tournament and he delivered, firing three under par rounds to win his seventh tournament title. He started the final round at Zanesville Country Club with a two-shot lead over Don Denman and following a front nine 36, widened his margin to three shots. Denman never got closer than two shots on the back nine and a bogey on the 18th hole dropped him into third place overall behind Larry Snode. Spargrove had three birdies in his final six holes, effectively sealing the tournament with a birdie putt on the par-4 17th. Below are the top five overall scores and ties of the tournament.
