An area high school is planning an anniversary celebration.
West Muskingum will turn fifty this fall and the school would like to honor anyone who has played, coached or cheered from 1962 all the way to 2012. Committee member Jim Maniaci hopes this celebration will bring together as many alumni as possible.
"A lot of our graduates, a lot of my football players have started companies, moved out of state and they don’t come back to school events so this is a once in a lifetime event we thought just come back and be a part of our community again, just on time," said Maniaci.
There are over ninety people already signed up for the celebration which will take place during the homecoming game on October 12th.
"At half-time of the game we’re going to line them up and just introduce them and let everybody get together and talk about the old stories and find out how many of them are true stories or just made up over the years," said Maniaci.
Maniaci expects over a hundred former West M students to attend. In order to register call Maniaci at (740) 454-1919
