It was as close to a forgone conclusion as you could get in the golf world, but Chase Wilson couldn’t relax on the final day of the Zanesville District Golf Association Tournament.

He entered the final round at the Zanesville Country Club with a huge lead but still had his sights on one prize, all four rounds in the 60s. Wilson accomplished that goal by firing a final round 68 at the Country Club which was good enough for a four under par day. In the process Wilson broke the tournament’s record for lowest total score which was nine under par. Wilson said after the tournament that this would be his final ZDGA as he plans to go pro after his final golf campaign at High Point University.
