The 4th Annual Y-Bridge Arts Festival is set to kick off Friday at its new location.
The set up process will begin Thursday at noon at Zane’s Landing Park.
Dana Matz from the Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce said the artists will come in Friday to set up their displays.
"We weren’t sure where they would be with that construction project,, whether there would be cranes, or demolition going on, so we tried to avoid it and we re-located it from the Y-Bridge to Zanes Landing Park," said Matz.
The event was moved due to construction concerns near the Y-Bridge, however Matz believes the new location will be able to accommodate more visitors to the festival.
Food vendors will be offering up tasty treats and Matz said performance areas will be set up around the park and there will be crafts for the kids.
"This is for all ages, again we have a children’s area designed specifically for the children, we’ll have over 70 artists participating in this event, we’ll have very good music, we’ll have musicians from the Zanesville-Muskingum County Area and/or musicians that are from Zanesville," added Matz
The event is free and open to the public Friday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m..
