The year isn’t off to a great start at John Glenn High School. Students have been forced to evacuate the building two days in a row.
It all started on Thursday when Sgt. Matt McCauley said someone scribbled a threat on the wall of a boys bathroom. A Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit swept the building.
Then on Friday a student discovered a fake bomb. McCauley said the school was locked down, and the Franklin County Bomb Squad arrived to detonate the device. No explosives were found.
He said bomb threats tend to follow a pattern. Both incidents remain under investigation.
