The Muskingum County Emergency Management Agency said a semi will spend most of its day on its side.
The EMA said the tanker which was carrying a highly flammable material used to coat aluminum cans tipped over Friday morning in the parking lot of the livestock barns on Zane Street.
Deputy Director Jeff Jadwin said the semi tipped due to the soft ground and the weight of the load. There was no leak in the truck and no one was injured.
Jadwin said the trailer will remain on its side most of the day until the company arrives to upright it and safely offload the liquid.
Jadwin said as long as it isn’t leaking the semi poses no concern to the public. They’ll continue to monitor the situation.
