The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office responded to a man threatening harm to himself and others.
Sunday evening around 8:30 the Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding a man threatening his neighbors with a gun on Main Street in Roseville. Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the home. The man also made comments that he was going to burn the house down and threatened to hurt himself. He then barricaded himself in the home with a large knife. Deputies entered the home with permission from the homeowner, tased the man and took him into custody. No one else was injured in the incident.
